This was the perfect escape on a rainy day. Nice to look around the little museum. Liked the break room with its lovely view, where they put out free beverages and cookies.

This was a nice indoor activity to do with my sister and nephew while we were visiting MB and it was so hot. The museum was very nice and we really had a good time walking through looking at all the art. Last summer we went to the museum and they had the best traveling, interactive exhibit for kids. It had all the Babar art by Jean de Brunoff and all these interactive stations that related to the art. It was so wonderful. My nephew had a great time (as did my sister and I ). It was my favorite activity while we were there! I hope they have more exhibits like that in the future. We've been back since and will definitely continue to visit.

We love the Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum and have been bringing our children here since they were preschoolers. They have several family/children programs each month with 2nd and 4th Saturdays, Mommy/Daddy & Me, Studio Wednesdays for kids of all ages to create art work and a summer kids art program (this summer it's kimono art). They also have a fun exhibit that is interactive with mini-golf and each hole being a different artists rendition of a famous painting. Lots of fun, well organized, well cared for and an impressive collection in a smaller place. Admission is free, but donations are accepted (and a nice gesture to help keep it open for others to enjoy). Experiences are what you make of them, it sounds like the negative reviewers didn't do enough research on what was available or give the place a chance, we love it and will continue to visit every summer!

We always plan a visit to the Art Museum -- their exhibits are always interesting and unlike most museums.
