“We had a blast!!”
Reviewed August 12, 2013 via mobile

Myrtle Beach Segway is now at the top of our to do list while in Myrtle. We had a great time. We did the self guided tour of the Market Common. There is so much more to see than just the shopping area. Eric was very helpful, he didn't let us go until he knew we were all comfortable on the segways. Your time doesn't start until after you are all ready to go. It only takes a few minutes to get the feel of it. The segaways are easy to use. We had such a good time, we went back the next day. This is one thing that you should definitely do while in Myrtle Beach!! We will be back, thank you Eric!

“July Vacation”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Another great experience from Myrtle Beach Segway. This was our 5th Segway rental. We rented three Segways for Easter last year and liked it so good that every time we go to the beach that another rental is on top of our to do list. For those that haven`t tried the Segway it is a Blast. Don`t be afraid to try it. At the time of the rental you will receive training for 10 to 15 minutes before you are allowed to go on your own. They want to make sure that you have enough knowledge to ride safe. The time does not start until the instructor knows you have the basic`s down. My wife, son, and myself rent them for two hours. You can go anywhere you want to, (except for the block around the water fountain at Myrtle Commons) ,because there is a lot of pedestrain`s. That is for their safety and yours. You will be anaized at how far you can go. The sidewalks are wide and smooth. Can`t wait to ride again after Labor Day. Rent a Segway, you will love it.

“Great Activity!!”
Reviewed July 20, 2013 via mobile

Our 17 year old daughter wanted to take a Segway tour, so while in Myrtle Beach, we took her to Segs by the Sea. It was awesome!! My husband & I had previously ridden on these, so we knew what to do. It only took our daughter about 2 minutes to get the hang of it. We did the one hour self-guided tour & loved it. We rode down to Warbird Park & then rode all around the nearby park, and ended riding all around the Market Commons. It was great & the staff was awesome. The only negative was that the advertisements said it was $29 for the 1-hour self-guided tour, but when we arrived it was actually $39. We did have a $5 off coupon, but it still cost us $30 more than we were expecting. This is a great activity to do while in Myrtle Beach.

“Superior Segway Adventure”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

This was the best money we spent at Myrtle Beach. Aaron, our guide, was an excellent trainer on the machines. His instructions were clear and geared toward all members of our group with good analogies. He made sure we were proficient before taking us on the tour. His informative tour showed a heavy understanding of both the historical parts of the site and the wildlife. Aaron was an amazing fount of information and showed us some highlights of the site that we would have never found on our own. The segways was a great choice for this large park. We were able to cover a large amount of ground during our trip. Thanks for the highlight of our trip.

“It was fun for a while”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

My girl friends and I come to this place because of the high ratings. The Staff was AWESOME!!! We did the self-guided tour of Market commons. We wanted the freedom to go around on our own. It was fun for the first bit, but it's got dull after a while. I suppose the Huntington trip would be better, but why would you have to have a tour guide. There should be a better area for the self guided tour. We would rate it 2.5 of 5 at best for the Market Commons "self Guided tour. Next time Huntington Tour for sure.

The Market Common District is the only safe venue for Segway rentals in Myrtle Beach. Of course we would like to have more. All tours of Huntington Beach State Park must have a tour guide in accordance with their rules. But there is much more to see at the State Park. We hope you have a better time on your next trip. Glide On!
