“Not up to their own standards, Bad experience.”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

I have had P.F. Changs in West Palm Beach and in Las Vegas at the planet Hollywood Casino, They were outstanding. This location is very pretty. Rude hostess station, they have serious attitude issues, there are 2 sets of double doors. No one holds them open but instead groups waiting for their tables stand in front of them and it is near impossible to walk through. That being said for a 2 top it was a 45 minute wait at 8pm ... ok it was busy granted but we were told we could sit in the bar area... did we get menus...NO... we waited for 10 minutes as 4 servers did nothing... the bartender was going to be right there in a minute... never came over.... finally our server asked for our drinks... nope no specials, or happy hour drinks, or even a how are you doing... we asked for water and we wanted to look at some wine options ... ok I will be right back goes around the bar pours our water... 2people sit down in front of her at the bar... and yes they got our waters, and then began to have their order taken... right in front of us we had been cut out of our own server... So with no welcome, no drinks, and a full staff (ALL seemed very unhappy to be at work, and yet they were getting tips from a crowd of un happy guests) We left .... I stated to the hostess that the staff had been very rude, and we would rather have take out Chinese than deal with the snotty staff ..And they never even attempted to make the pf changs sauces for us, the signature to the dinning experience, they are supposed to make the sauce at the table make you feel welcome and up sale some drinks and food not smack gum and eyeball the guests because they don’t want to be working. PF changs has great food but this dump at market commons could really use an attitude adjustment. Hung over hipsters with no sense of hospitality. Cheers.

“Really disappointed”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

When we were in Myrtle Beach 2 years ago, we visited PF Changs for the first time & were blown away by how good the food was so we were super excited to go back on this trip. I made reservations in advance which I highly recommend as there is usually a wait to get in. Our waitress was extremely nice, we ordered all the same foods as the 1st time but the similarities end there. Aside from the duck rolls and the new shrimp with cold noodles, everything else was extremely salty and tasted the same. Even my husband who loves salt said it was overdone....I think they use too much soy sauce in all the dishes. Our waitress did bring us a free dessert for having finished off all the dishes we ordered so the evening ended on a good note, but we will not be in such a rush next time to book at this restaurant.

“good food”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

food was great. and the price was very reasonable. for the five of us we only spent 78 dollars. we were also 5 minutes late on our reservation, however they held the table for us and we got right in. only gripe I have is the portions were kind of small.

“Good experience”
Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

Love P F Chang's! This one was no exception, but it missed the mark by just a tad. Food was very good - shrimp, crispy chicken, lettuce wrap, desserts, and wine list are excellent. But I think the service was really lacking. We were a party of six and once the meal was done our server did not clear our dishes in preparation for dessert. We finally passed and piled our dishes on a corner of the table. However we love PFChang and will continue to eat at other locations.

“Worth the wait”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

My family and I visited P.F. Chang's twice during our visit to Myrtle Beach and loved it both times. Because we were walk ups without reservations on both trips we had a bit of a wait. At 6PM on a weekend we didn't feel that a 20 minute wait was excessive and neither did our grandkids. They both commented that the food was worth the wait.

Our grandson adored the Egg Drop Soup and ordered a whole bowl both times we were there. The bowl was actually a tureen and easily would have fed four adults! He ate several bowls in the restaurant and then took it back to the hotel for lunch the next two days!

Their spicy Szechuan style dishes are actually very tame I like my food fiery and felt theirs could have used a bit more pizazz.

The service was always excellent and we felt like we were well taken care of.
