“First time at PF Chang's”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

It was pretty dang good, with some small niggles. I ordered the Orange Peel Chicken, which was tasty but didn't have any sauce -- just chicken with various (yummy) stuff on it. My companion is a small eater so ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, which she said were exceptional.

Not crazy about the "special sauce," though it tasted better over rice.

Portions were quite large, lunch prices are very reasonable, surroundings were pleasant, though It was a tad strange to hear pop music instead of oriental!

It's very handy to the large cinema in Market Commons, so no doubt we'll be back.

“First Visit, Good Food”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We tried Chang's as we have been unable to find a decent Chinese Restaurant in Myrtle Beach. While not as traditional as what we are used too, it was very good. Had several appetizers, Steamed Pork Dumplings, Egg Rolls and Chang's Spare Ribs (couldn't believe the amount meat on the 6 Ribs, could have been dinner). We also had Orange Peel Chicken. Everything was very good. Nice selection of beers and wine, staff was friendly and efficient. Our server was Kelly who was very personable. Our meal was a pleasurable first experience.

“Once again great food, good service. A nice dining experience”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

Have eaten here many times. So we were a bit early (while other restaurants would have given you an evil eye or sent you away until opening time, these folks were accommodating). We were seated in a booth... all 5 of us. Ashley was our hostest and waitress too. She knew we were on a tight timeline and she made every effort to service us quickly.

We opted for Pork Dumplings (fried>steamed, even though the health benefits may not be so) 6 came to a table of 5, so we fought over the last one (JK.. we split it 6 ways).

It is always interesting how they ''make the special sauce"... after the 3rd time it gets old... just make the sauce and move on....LOL.

Since we always would leave w/ doggy bags, we ordered two entrees for the entire table... the Honey Chicken was very good and votes came in for the Lo Mein Lunch special w/ pork. Both were hits with the kids and the only thing we left w/ was extra white/brown rice. Once you dump in all those cool sauces, well the bland rice comes to live. A good left over dish some hours later.

Caution they charge $2.65 for an Arnold Palmer.

On the Saleeby Scale: 7/10.

Consistently good service and variety. We enjoyed the honey chicken, ginger chicken with broccoli, egg drop soup and spring rolls. We love the variety of sauces and expansive menu. Our waiter, Dominick was excellent .. Made recommendations and gave exceptional service. The place can get busy in the evenings. I recommend an early meal for no wait. Try the meals for two that are value priced with soup, an appetizer, two entrees and desert.

“Consistently pleased...”

This was our first visit to the MB location and it was fantastic. A little off the beaten path but worth finding. Our server was very attentive without being overbearing and the food was great. Still the best mongolian beef I've ever had.
