“Terrible service”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

My son took us to dinner there this evening. We ordered 1 Bud light and 1 Blue Moon. My son complained that the Bud was flat and my Blue Moon was warm. After much time passed word came from the bartender that all he could do was give us cold glasses!?? This doesn't do much to help a flat beer...but we let it go,,,,,We had to ask twice for those cold glasses.
We ordered an appetizer and dinner.
We never saw our waiter again until he brought us our appetizer and dinner all at the same time. I said I wasn't paying for the appetizer and I'd like to speak to a manager. The manager (questionable) came, he agreed to remove the appetizer from the bill...BUT, get this,,,, took the appetizer.
The moment when he could have made everything right AND they still screwed it up!
And then gave us 2 beers for free, 1 of which was still flat!!!
So here's the thing....there are plenty of restaurants that have good food AND good service. This isn't one of them.

“been coming...”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

Been coming to Longbeards for quite awhile now. Everything on the menu that i have tasted has been spectacular and the drinks are great with a wide selection. The owner is always there walking around greeting everyone which is nice. The only problem is that the waiters/waitresses are not very good. Greg that worked there awhile back was the best waiter you could ask for and we always tipped him very very well. For some reason he does not work there anymore and the past three times we have been we have had three different waiters (2 guys, 1 girl) that were all horrible. They didn't bring what we asked (condiments). They were so slow on refilling drinks and there was NO ONE else in the restaurant so they were not busy. Aside from the service we've been getting, this is a chill nice place to just go and sit outside and play cornhole and have a few drinks (i would advise going up to the bar yourself to order them).

“Average Bar & Grill”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

Visited for lunch after neighbors raved about the place. We were there on Thursday which was "Burger Thursday", $5.00 with Fries. Sounded like a good deal, so that was what we had. The Burgers were very good and cooked just as we ordered. I wasn't crazy about the Fries but, then again, I'm not that much into fries. Our server, Lori, was very efficient and had a great personality. I would stop for lunch again, doubtful that I would have dinner there. They did have an outdoor area overlooking a small pond which would be great in nice weather.

“Like eating with family”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

The owner of this place, Ronnie, he's just a friend you haven't met yet. The food and the atmosphere cannot be beat. We go at least twice a week. The value is excellent. His daily specials are a great deal. Wing Monday and Burger Thursday rule. The burgers are legit, hand formed, not frozen patties and the garlic parm wings are amazing. Trust a local when I say take a trip up here.
