We have seen this place yearly and never had a chance to try it. They had so so reviews and we decided to go. Had a buy one get one NY Strip for $18.00. Ordered it medium. Came out cold and so red couldnot finish it. Baked potato was cold also. Prob won't go back. Had good intentions.

Longbeards restaurant is like going to a huge hunting camp. It has a massive deck with a fire pit, pool table, BBQ grill, outside bar and even a place to shoot hoops. Motorcycle riding groups meet here; and so do senior and families. (handicap accessable in all areas).

We stopped in for lunch and dinner over two days. Sweet potato fries (I think tossed in cimmamon sugar) are great. Shrimp 'n Grits is pretty good ($14.95) but on Mondays at $10.99 special price, tastes even better! The BLTs and Patty Melts are hefty. Food and Service is pretty good. Atmosphere is really nice!

Great lunch destination. Off the beaten path. Hunting lodge feel. Clean. Staff is always friendly, yet average service. Not unforgetful, but not bad either. Food is good with good prices. Would be a favorite lunch destination, still upset that the owner was rude to the retired police club. But, despite that, I continue to go back. That must mean something!!

Someone referred us off the beaten path to this place for BBQ, and while there really was only one pork sandwich on the menu, they did have great food. The special was a steak, salad, soup, dessert and 2 sides for $16 - very reasonable and delicious. Also, the decor is interesting with animal heads on the wall. They have elk burgers, etc. Neat place if you're looking for something different than the tourist areas.

Decent food and prices but the lack on televisions hardly qualify it as a sports bar. Go here if you want a quiet atmosphere to hang out
