We ate at Mr. Fish last weekend and had a fantastic meal. Our server was delightfully attentive. The fried green tomato stack was excellent as were all of our meals. I am not a huge review writer unless it is a memorable experience... and the dessert was just that. You must try the coconut grit pie!

My fiance and I came down to SC from Wilmington. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table but once we got in and started eating, that 15 minute was well worth the wait. The seafood is fresh, the fries are great. The only thing I can say bad is that they seemed to need more servers. The services was a little slow and you can see the poor waiters running about to cover all the people in a timely fashion. This place will be a staple of our diet in SC.

Mr. Fish, who is going to be moving into a larger building in the next few weeks, is a great place for locals and tourists to mingle over fresh seafood. Every dish is prepared with care and is delicious. The servers and staff are friendly and funny.

The restaurant is located in a small strip mall but will soon be moving to larger facilities. Since we arrived in mid-afternoon there was no crowd. I tried the gumbo and it lacked spices and had a strong tomato taste (as in canned) but the flounder that I had was excellent. It was fried but with a light batter and came out quickly. The fries and cole slaw appeared fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was early "strip mall" but the service was very good as was the food. That is what I want in a restaurant.

This was our first experience with this restaurant. The shrimp was excellent..lightly breaded and not greasy. The shee crab soup was the best this side of Charleston. The real surprise was the extremely reasonable prices. We will return.
