“LONG ROUNDS”
Reviewed August 11, 2010

Our foursome played Heathland, Parkland, and Moorland. We played the front nine in about 2 hours everyday. The back nine took about 3 hours everyday. Sometimes waiting at the tee boxes for over 10 minutes. I understand they have to double tee, but its ridiculous. They could care less about the golfer, just about the money. Thumbs down.
Positives- Courses were all in great shape from tee to green. It's just a shame they ruin it by overbooking.

“Great course in fantastic condition”
Reviewed July 21, 2010

Played both the Heathland and Moorland courses. Both tracks were in great shape! Fairways were immaculate; greens rolled true.

Thankfully the beverage cart was seen on multiple occasions.

“Great golf resort”
Reviewed April 11, 2010

My buddy and I stayed and played at Legends with our wives. The accommodations were large, clean, and perfectly fine for a golf excursion. We had a stay and play package that included breakfast and lunch, bith which were terrific. As per the golf...awasome. Within the resort itself, Moorland was the best, followed by Heathland and Parkland. Beautifully manicured and challenging courses, yet still playable by most (my wife only began playing a few years ago and usually hits in the 110 range and still found them playable). We also played two other Legends, not in the resort - Heritage, not manicured like Moorland, but beautiful...shades of Augusta in this one. Oyster Bay, short but challenging.
This was our first trip to Myrtle, but not our last. We all mentioned that we would be very happy returning to Legends again.

“A good quality golf factory, with three very good courses”
Reviewed November 1, 2009

PARKLAND - just played it, better than I remembered. Nice playing among the pine trees.
HEATHLAND - the easiest of the three courses, very playable and nice course
MOORLAND - "Target" golf course, with some great, memorable holes

Overall, the Legends does it right. Easy check in, good location. Good pro shop. Breakfast buffet not wonderful, but keeps everyone moving. A la carte lunch at the clubhouse below average, but who cares, you're eating hot dogs or sandwiches anyway. GREAT place to play two rounds in one day.

“Not worth the money”
Reviewed October 21, 2009

The Moorlands golf course at Legends is not worth its cost. It is very poorly marked - no numbers on holes, few sprinklers with distances, hard to find distance markers. It all seems a set up to get you to rent a GPS - without it you can't find your way. Greens are huge elephant burial grounds, and if very poor condition as well (October - brown and sandy) Impossible to telll where you are going. Food/drinks can't be taken out of the clubhouse. Carts have no sand, ball washers, etc.
