This is my second time staying at Ocean Creek. The last visit was in 1996 and we were evacuated by Hurricane Fran.
The accommodations are very pleasant. The one bedroom tennis villa is the farthest from the beach but the walk to the beach is very pleasant and the shuttle runs throughout the day. You can usually catch it quite readily.
The only complaint I have is the kitchen. It is extremely small. You must open the oven door to get in the silverware/utensils drawer. But we weren't there to do any cooking and it was a minor inconvenience.
Overall, it was very nice. There's a screened porch with pleasant furnishings and the unit has a washer/dryer as well.
It's the beauty of the resort and the beach that was the biggest pleasure. The walk to the beach is a winding sidewalk past beautiful landscaping. The beach has chairs and umbrellas and lifeguards.
There are multiple pools around the resort, a restaurant with a buffet breakfast (included in golf packages) and a tennis facility. The clay courts needed some work around the tape at the nets but overall very nice. There's a small fee but reasonable. They have some organized play on different days for intermediate players.
I will go again and would recommend this resort.
