The Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation is a very nice play to stay for meetings and family vacation. The suites are recently renonvated for a comfortable night sleep. The staff is very friendly and the surrounding area offers a lot of activity even during the late fall. Out of all the hotels I have stayed in, this location has one of the nicest "free" breakfast buffets.

Get a rental car so you can take in the coast. The night life is great and the food is wonderful. The relaxation is unmatched by the east coast.

Thoroughly enjoyed our "Anniversary Vacation"!!! The check-in staff (two gentlemen)was not the most accommodating, not at all informative on what the hotel had to offer (such as manager's reception -which I asked about at 6:50 pm, after my husband checked us in, I was told we had less than 10 minutes, only to find out the next evening, it ended at 7:30 pm). Everything else was superb! The (corner - beach and pool view) room was extremely comfortable, roomy and clean. My only suggestion would be to please move the toilet paper holder up from knee level :) It was wobbly when we arrived, so we removed the roll and made our own adjustments during our stay. There was one minor incident during our stay, but it was handled immediately and well beyond our expectations. We had great views both during the day and in the evening, and were fortunate enough to enjoy a concert from our balcony one evening. Liz, the bartender at the Manager's Reception, was a lovely lady. She made our evening bar visits most enjoyable and went above and beyond to make our Anniversary an extra special event (Thank You!). We have both agreed this will be our anniversary gift for each other for years to come, and planning on staying for two weeks next year.

When my husband called the Embassy Suites to book this hotel he was told that there were no rooms available inside the Embassy but they would book him at the connecting building, South Hampton. He was using this hotel for a conference and we decided to parlay the trip into a family vacation.
We arrived at the Embassy around 8:00pm to check-in, we were given our keys and told that we needed to drive to the other building. We did not mind being in the other building but we did find that it did not "connect" to the Embassy. There was no front desk in our building and there were no amenities either. Therefore, room service or bell service was not available and anything like needing to use the restaurant, gym or laundry we had to go to the Embassy for. I believe the building we were placed in was either a timeshare or some type of private residence.
The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to fix some of the issues they were able to resolve. We found them to be very helpful and friendly but the room to be quite dirty and not what you would expect to be attached to the Hilton name.
Our room was out dated and quite dirty. The carpet was very old, the wall paper was peeling off of the walls, the tub/ shower was backed up, the TV went out and there was an extreme amount of dust coming out of the AC. In addition the AC was coming off of the wall.
We called guest services and they did send a maintain. person to fix the AC, TV and the backed up tub. He was very helpful and fixed them. They also sent housekeeping to clean the carpets but to no avail. The carpets were so old and dirty that it did not seem to help and only left the floor wet for about a day and a half.
This is a large property consisting of about 150 acres of beach front rooms so the location is great but I think if we were ever to return we would insist on having a room inside of the Embassy Suites ONLY.
I have also attached a few pictures including the wall paper, AC, carpet, stopped up tub, and beautiful view.
