Having dined at Gordon Biersch in Atlanta, I knew what to expect going in, and we were not disappointed. One of us enjoyed a special of the month, the pretzel burger. Not to be confused with the Wendy's version, this was a delicious large serving, cooked as requested. The sweet potato fries were outstanding, coated with a sugar-salt mix, unique & delicious. Another in our party had stir-fry, which is on the light side, leaving plenty of room for dessert, which in this case was the apple bread pudding, to die for. A nice aspect of the dessert menu is the option of mini-taster desserts. Since I was full after a large serving of bourbon chicken with grilled shrimp, I enjoyed getting a taste of the bread pudding without committing to the larger size dessert. There were chocolate mini-tasters as well. Beer selection was good, and the entire dinner made for a pleasant evening with friends, in cozy surroundings. Service was excellent. A little bit off the beaten path in Myrtle Beach, in a new, more upscale part of town. Recommended.
