My husband I earned a trip to Myrtle Beach. However it was during the winter, so a little chilly for the beach. We had a great time, and lots of neat things to see.....Fun for adults and children of ALL ages!

Travelled here the week of Thanksgiving with my family. They offer free admission plus half off additional admission for teachers with ID. This was great because my daughter wanted to go back the next day and it didn't feel too expensive. She loved the sharks and mermaid shows. We were able to see everything in under an hour and the gift shop offered lots of cheap souvenirs. We will definitely return.

This might be a good rainy day activity. It was over $75 for the four of us. Kids were entertained for a good two hours. Can be a little claustrophobic during peak season. Make sure you see the dive show and stingray bay.

One of the cool things about this aquarium is that it is open 365 days a year. While I would not recommend going in July or August (it gets WAY too crowded to enjoy) it is a great Christmas season activity. They decorate the entire aquarium with Christmas trees, and play Christmas music throughout. My husband and I went the day after Christmas and spent about 2 and a half hours there. Our favorite attractions were the Dangerous Reef tank, where you can see sharks and sawfish, and the Ray Bay, where you can pet sting rays. Overall, the aquarium is a little bit small, but it is clean and well-staffed. If you are planning to stay in MB, I would definitely recommend checking with your resort or hotel to see if they offer aquarium tickets. My husband and I purchased them this way, and they were a lot cheaper than they would have been at the door.
