This might be a good rainy day activity. It was over $75 for the four of us. Kids were entertained for a good two hours. Can be a little claustrophobic during peak season. Make sure you see the dive show and stingray bay.

One of the cool things about this aquarium is that it is open 365 days a year. While I would not recommend going in July or August (it gets WAY too crowded to enjoy) it is a great Christmas season activity. They decorate the entire aquarium with Christmas trees, and play Christmas music throughout. My husband and I went the day after Christmas and spent about 2 and a half hours there. Our favorite attractions were the Dangerous Reef tank, where you can see sharks and sawfish, and the Ray Bay, where you can pet sting rays. Overall, the aquarium is a little bit small, but it is clean and well-staffed. If you are planning to stay in MB, I would definitely recommend checking with your resort or hotel to see if they offer aquarium tickets. My husband and I purchased them this way, and they were a lot cheaper than they would have been at the door.

One of our favorite activities is to visit the Aquarium, our children enjoy seeing Gabby the sea turtle and always spend extra time in the tunnel just to see her. my boys got to swim w/ the rays last year and enjoyed the behind the scenes tour, we are looking forward to the new exhibit w/the penquins etc.

Wow great place to see many sharks above you in the pool. The way the walkway winds around it gives a great opportunity to see the fish, sharks and stingrays from so many different angles. It was amazing. We went early in the morning when the place first opened so it was quiet and we went around the walkways multiple times. By lunch time the place was very busy and it was time for us to leave so we spent 2 -3 hours and I have pre-schoolers.
The children were scared of the dinosaur area as it was darker and the music was a little scary so we avoided that area.
Otherwise it was great to hae the opportunity to see sharks up close.

We have never been at Christmas but wanted to go and check out their Festival of Trees. Each state and US territory was represented by their own Christmas tree. They were very pretty. I would highly recommend going at Christmas and checking out the trees.
