“What I Go To Myrtle For”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

Ten of us played this course in late April. Now this is what I go to Myrtle for. The course was in excellent condition from tee to green. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were outstanding. A ranger came up to us on the Par 3 Island green and took our pictures and was very entertaining. All in all, a great experience.

A Spectacular course... Welcoming, Challenging, beautiful and very accessible. Our party of three, ranked this in the top three of the fifteen courses we played in April.

“Avoid”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

We were sent off behind 5-7 foursomes of rowdy, intoxicated, yelling and swearing 20-30 yr. olds. After 9 holes in which the 4-some in front of us was 2 holes behind, with one of them golfing barefoot, we complained to the starter who said there was nothing he could do. At no time did we see a ranger. The couple paired with us left but we continued because we had paid a lot of money to play this particular course. As the drinking continued on the back 9 the swearing became louder, the play went slower, and the urinating in the open became more frequent. Again, never saw a ranger. At the end of the 5+ hr. round I went to the pro shop to complaint and the person there could not have cared less. I recommend to anyone to avoid this course. It is clear that the management does not care about your golfing experience, only about your money. If you get behind a group such as we did there will be no ranger or assistance. A real disappointment!

“Great golf course. Don't miss it.”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

We played this course at the end of April after a day of rain and the course was outstanding. The staff was friendly, the course challenging, and the course conditions were excellent.

“Missing value for premium price”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

The Monday greens fee was $136 for King's North and we got it for $100 on Golf Now. However for that price I expected range balls (extra $4) and no tees or towels were provided. We also were faced with cart path only conditions which is also a negative. BUT the course was challenging in the usual Arnold Palmer design manner and worth playing once at that price. Very busy and crowded but we did finish in the 4.5 hour time allowed. Bag and desk staff very welcoming and efficient.
