We were greeted by Russian women. For as much as it cost to eat here I am wondering why local folk don't work here. The tip was $26.00 for my party of 6 with 1 child. This was for clearing dishes and bringing drinks so damn good money. I suspect the foreign people I see working around Myrtle Beach are paid less that what locals will work for. Anyway, the food was average and overpriced. $180.00 with $42.00 off coupon. GO TO BENJAMIN ORIGINAL SEAFOOD IN NORTH MYRTLE BEACH. BEST FOR MONEY.

At nearly 30.00 per person for the buffet you would think it would a least be half way good. Unfortunately that was not the case! Most of the seafood ranged from mediocre to bad! The fried shrimp tasted like some cheap junk out of the grocery store freezer case. The crab legs were just okay and the rest of the food was mostly unremarkable. BTW, I was excited to see blue crabs on the buffet but they were horrible!
Anyway not much good to say about the place. The service was great but not enough to make up for poor food quality and value.

I mainly ate the crab legs since all the fried food I tried was cold and soggy. My husband had the clams and he liked them but nothing was hot.

This is one of the neatest buffets we have ever eaten in. The buffet table is comprised of a huge ship. It is a really cool atmosphere. There is also a swimming pool in which a live mermaid is swimming around and greeting guests. Food was exceptional. Prices are a little high and do not include beverages, but it is well worth the money.

The $27.99 buffet had a lot of variety, but that's all I can say for it. It was certainly not worth $70 for two dinners. If you go there anyway, be sure to bring a discount coupon from any of the tourist books. Even then it's not worth it.
