Found this place on trip adviser and
Not disappointed. Pulled in at 8pm on a Sunday night and the parking lot was packed. Very casual island atmosphere with
very average service. Food was very reasonably priced and very well prepared.
Grouper sandwich was outstanding.

They seem to have a gold mine which needs a major renovation and updating to the building and equipment.

Found on TA as well as recommended by friends - this is a GEM just off the Grand Strand. Not a fancy place, so if that's what you are looking for - don't. Plastic chairs, funky tables and THE best seafood we had in 2 weeks. This will be our new "go to" spot everytime we visit. We had the "POT" - fresh clams, shrimp, oysters, mussels and crab legs. Sides are coleslaw and hushpuppies - again some of the best we've had. All this for $39?!?! t fed 3 of us with the addition of an extra 1/2 lb of crab legs and an order of very good conch fritters. I can still taste the sweetness of the crab! A definite must do in MB.

...except that I've been in MB for more than a couple hours by now. Bimini's was our first eating experience in Myrtle Beach. it was very, VERY busy and we were in a hurry, so we ended up ordering shrimp to go. The food was good, although a little bland. The staff was very nice and helpful. The environment wasn't at all what we were looking for at the time, but if you like a noise, sports-bar / happy-hour-ish environment... or at least don't mind being stuck in it... this place is fine. I didn't see why all of the reviews were so great until I spent some more time in MB, which is full of chains and poor-quality, tourist-preying eateries. I guess the bottom line is that I'd most likely be back to give it a 2nd chance. A side note, my one annoyance, however, is that their suggested tips are 20, 25, and 30%. Really!?!?!? I mean service was fine, but 30%!?!?

We were vacationing in Myrtle Beach and read trip advisor review on Bimini's Oyster Bar. Decided to go... WOW. I got the Wasabi Tuna-cooked to perfection. Mouthwatering good. It is a dish I will always remember. My husband got the blackened grouper. It was also wonderful. Seasonings were definately there. Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great meal. This seems to be a local hangout place. Causal and the service was out of this world. Very attention to detail.
In summary, just a cool, local place to hang out and have a few beers... or sprite... and relax. If you are looking for a great meal for the money-look no more.... You found it here.
