“Cozy atmosphere and good food”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

Seated right away by Ben, the friendly young server. We judge Italian restaurants by their spaghetti and meatballs and bread -- good sauce (although there was a little too much for my taste - ask for it on the side), meatballs were tasty -- and the bread was fantastic! We also enjoyed great conversation with the local couple sitting next to us, seems its a real local favorite place.

“Great food, great service”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

Have had lunch at Ciao several times but this was a first for dinner. 6 people in our party and everyone loved their meal. The braised lamb shank special as amazing. The calamari appetizer was done just right. The grouper entree was perfect and the spaghetti carbonara is definitely a recommended dish. Ben our waiter was pleasant, observant but unobtrusive. Definitely will go back.

“Spectacular lunch!”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

After seeing the high rating on Trip Advisor, we decided to give this place a try. We got there right around the end of lunch - which runs until 3:30. The atmosphere was very nice, simply and beautifully decorated. I ordered the lunch plate of chicken picatta and he ordered the lunch plate of the spaghetti with meat sauce with meatballs on the side. The food was delicious. These folks really know how to make their sauces. So glad we tried this place, just wished we would have tried it sooner!!!

“Delicious, fresh food...and great service”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

Our family visited Ciao! on the day after Christmas upon our arrival to Myrtle Beach. After a long, almost 9 hour drive, this place was definitely the perfect place for dining. We found Ciao! on TripAdvisor and we are glad we followed through. We were seated immediately and I believe got there just in time before it started filling up. Our server was Ben. He was excellent. He was friendly and helpful. We started with two appetizers and then had meals of chicken parmesan, pasta carbonara, alfredo and chicken ciao. All were delicious. We have eaten lots of Italian food and this was one of the best Italian meals I have eaten. I had the chicken ciao. The pepper and zucchini topped it off, and the sauce was the freshest sauce I have ever had. Some of us took our leftovers back to our motel and the food was great even heated up as a late-night snack. We had some great meals at several different places in Myrtle Beach. Ciao! was a perfect start to a great vacation.

“Small place.....great food.....a little pricey”
Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

Visited this place after checking the rating at Tripadvisor.
We were lucky to get a table right away.
The place is small but very comfortable and well decorated.
The food is very good and the service is nice and efficient.
As a piece of advice, be careful when you order from the specials since the waiter will not tell you the price while describing it, and you may get a big surprise on your check.
