Excellent service, nice atmosphere, excellent food. My wife had a pasta seafood dish and loved it, I had eggplant parmesan. For baked eggplant (typically smothered) this was excellent. I feel like most restaurants who serve it this way do it as a way to be lazy, and few pull it off well, Ciao showed they know how to cook. Also the Caprese appetizer, and house bread was excellent.
