You will love staying at the Hampton Inn at Myrtle Beach-Broadway, not only is the hotel very comfortable, cozy and clean, but it is located at Broadway at The Beach amusement park where you can spend your day playing and eating at the local restaurants. The shops are fun to browse in and there are lots of shops to choose from - toys - clothes - etc. It's so much fun that you will want to spend the whole day walking, playing, and eating, but you probably won't want to leave until your feet give way as you will have such a marvelous time! When you finally go back to the Hampton Inn you will enjoy the comfortable bed and many amenities that they offer - it's hard to only stay one night so you might want to spend at least two nights there and relax, enjoy life as it's meant to be. Oh, breakfast was delicious - waffles - eggs - yogurt - you name it, Hampton Inn's breakfast selection had it.

I made reservations at the Hampton because, nothing told us that the "Broadway on the Beach" would not be open. We would not have made reservations had we new it was going to be a ghost town. Nothing on the BTB site told us that they were going to be closed as we checked before making the trip. We would have not made the trip driven the miles paid the hotel and spend Christmas watching TV in a hotel with my family had anything told us that.
The hotel had to have known as well since this is not their first Christmas at that location and since they did not we assumed that they would be open. That is the draw for that hotel and they did not tell us that info because, they wanted more people to stay .They mislead us both of them.

This hotel is beautifully placed right in the middle of the Broadwat at the Beach complex. You can walk out the door to the movies or dinner or take a stroll around the lagoon.

Room Tip: Get an even numbered room. Better view.

Insect break out at Hampton Inn Broadway at the Beach!

We found bugs in our bathroom room 205 in the am that appear to be starting stage of bed bugs. Desk clerk offered to move us to new room 311, when we inspected new room there were bugs in it as well. They offered to move us to 309 which we had no comfort level in doing. After over an hour of them trying to move us to another property the GM Michael Petrosino ask us to leave property and said all hotels have bugs.

Micheal Petrosino demeanor and attitude to me and my family was threatening and offensive, I stay in hotels frequently and have never felt so uncomfortable with a General Manager.

I was interviewed by the local news about my terrible experience with the insects and Michael Petrosino. link to story http://www.wmbfnews.com/story/16431924/bed-bugs-cause-travel-irritation

Hilton Honors did move us and comp our entire stay at the Hilton Garden Inn located at the mall. Read my review on this property which was wonderful.

Room Tip: Staying on the same floor of the breakfast area makes morning exit easy and quick. Your not waiting...

My husband and I stayed at this resort Dec. 2-4, 2011. The hotel was very clean and smelled so fresh. The front desk staff was awesome. We spoke with Lisa, and Amanda off and on during our stay. They treated us like family. The breakfast area was so large. Probably the nicest area of all the Hampton's we have stayed. The room was so clean. The housekeeping staff was very friendly. The indoor pool was warm and so nice, the hot tub was great. The Christmas Tree was beautiful.
We had a room overlooking Broadway at the Beach. We loved watching all the excitement going on down there. What a wonderful weekend get-away.

This hotel is very pretty on the outside, but could really use some updates in the rooms. We had two rooms at this hotel on the seventh floor that were very much in need of updating. The rooms were a little musty smelling and the furniture seemed to be old and quite worn. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was large and seemed to be a little newer then the rest of the room. Front desk staff was very nice, breakfast staff could be friendlier. The hotel is in a prime location for shopping as well as dining.

Room Tip: Our rooms faced the parking area. I would ask for a room that actually faced Broadway at the Beach.

The hotel is part of the Broadway @ The Beach entertainment complex. It’s convenient to the Highway 17 bypass, a mile or so from the ocean and just under 6 miles from the airport.

My room was on the 2nd floor which is lobby level. I was in an even numbered room which looked out toward the complex. I had a partial view of the pool and some large palm trees. The hotel is fairly new and the room was nicely furnished, including a microwave and refrigerator. The TV looked to be a 30” or so flat screen. There was a large selection of channels. The only ones listed as being in high definition on the guide were the local channels. But when I tuned into the channel numbers listed on the guide there was no signal on the HD channels. The free Wi Fi was easy to connect to and required entering a security code provided on the back of the room key envelope. The signal was faster than some of the Hampton Inns that I had stayed in recently. The bathroom was larger than that of the many hotels in the chain. The breakfast area was one of the larger ones I have seen, but I’m sure in the summer season the ample seating is a necessity. The indoor and outdoor pool looked inviting but my stay was too short to partake. Parking in front of the hotel is free. You are provided a hang tag for the rear view mirror to denote your status as a guest.

The real benefit of this hotel is its location in the complex. There are numerous restaurants of all sizes in the complex along with entertainment options that include a movie and IMAX theater, miniature golf and amusement rides. I can’t speak to the rates during the peak season, but the room was a good value when I stayed in late October.

Room Tip: Even numbered rooms face the entertainment complex. Rooms on lower floors may look right into the la...
