the marsh walk in Murrells Inlet is a great place to dine with its many restaurants and bars. enjoy the beautiful views of the inlet while enjoying a meal on the decks at the dead dog saloon, creek rats, dave's dockside, drunken jack's to name a few. walk along the boardwalk through the marina and out into the inlet. watch the goats and peacocks on goat island a popular attraction. the pirates adventure a must for the kids and parents, too. tons of fun!!! rent a boat, take a cruise on the inlet, enjoy a half day or full day fishing trip. go crabbing off the pier. the marsh walk is a favorite place to the "locals" to enjoy a pleasant evening stroll, have a drink or dinner.

It's best to visit the marshwalk in the evening. It's beautiful and you can stroll from one restaurant to another and check out the menus posted outside so you can choose which yummy restaurant you want to go to. Most restaurants have some form of live music as well. It's a nice night out.

Let me just say that about 3 1/2 years ago, my husband and I went to the Marsh Walk while on a visit to South Carolina from New York, while looking at houses to buy in the Myrtle Beach area. When we went down to the Marsh Walk (and it was winter), I said t him, "This is where we belong!" We moved to Murrells Inlet nine months later! The Marsh Walk has many restaurants and bars with different types of cuisines and prices - something for everyone! And of course the spectacular scenery! Make sure you include the Marsh Walk in your plans when visiting Myrtle Beach/Murrells inlet.

The Murrells Inlet Marshwalk is a great place for young and old. The Marshwalk is lined with restaurants, small and large. Many have live music at night. Its a fun place to grab a drink and listen to some music or enjoy a full dinner. I would recommend Wicked Tuna or Wahoos for dinner. The other establishments serving food are just OK, not bad, but not good. If you want a drink and music, Dead Dog or Creek Ratz is a good option. Further down the road, but not on the Marshwalk Hot Fish Club usually has good music. Graham's Landing further down the road has good food, outside deck on the marsh and music at night. The Marshwalk itselt is beautiful at night all lit up, and during the day the view from the Marshwalk is lovely. This year they have fireworks every Monday night at 9pm. It is a nice display, you will enjoy it. If you are visiting the Myrtle Beach area. Take a trip to the Marshwalk. Caution: Very crowded May to Sept. Some restaurants have 2 hour waits, I would call for a reservation. I live in Murrells Inlet, and even after many, many Marshwalk visits I still enjoy it!

We do the marsh walk every year that we vacation in North Myrtle Beach and come to Murrell's Inlet. It extends behind all the bars/restaurants, and you can stop along the way , order a drink and walk with it on the boardwalk. Usually, there's a band playing at the restaurants, so you can stop and listen to that also. Quite a few of the restaurants have rocking chairs that face the marsh walk, so you can have a drink and people-watch or just look at the boats in the water.
