So much to do. Walk the boardwalk, look at boats and people fishing on the pier. Rent a kayak or Jetski. Maybe, just have lunch or a cocktail..

We never go to Murrells Inlet without visiting the Marsh Walk. It's a pleasant 30 minute take if you want to walk along a board walk and see the view and wildlife. People are friendly and someone is always fishing off the pier. Restaurants abound along the walk and you can sit and have some appetizers and drinks and just relax. There aren't many places at all to sit unless you go to one of the restaurants.

The Marsh Walk is a great place to visit but it changes a lot off season. During the season, there are great restaurants with live music at most of them. If you go during the day there are a lot of activities...banana boat, parasailing, fising boats, jet ski rentals. They have a nice pier and an outdoor bar with live music and corn hole toss contests. You can also spend some time just watching the goats and pheasants on goat island just off of the walk. I would definitely recommend it during the season as a place to hang out, relax, enjoy the music, the drinks, and the scenery especially during the evening. Off season it is much quieter. In response to a previous review, I don't know where they were but I have NEVER seen it littered or dirty or with any bad smell and I have been there numerous times.

My friends and I stayed at Ellington and found Bubba's Love Shack one night, by accident. We were looking for a place to dance that wasn't far from the condo we stayed at, luckily, we stumbled upon this place. The whole bar was dancing with live music and it was right on the water!! What great fun we had!! We will definitely be back!
