“Great lunch”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

Visited for a local literary lunch. Great view and atmosphere. Staff did well and served 40+ super lunches with local seafood. Have visited for local nonprofit benefit event with a similar, excellent experience.

“Yum w/ A View”
Reviewed September 18, 2012 via mobile

Sat outside.. No waiting. Beautiful night with my wife, my aunt and her husband.

Hushpuppies are spot on. Great Margarita.

Grilled fish, blackened grouper, shrimp and grits, fried shrimp, key lime pie, bottle of wine, coupla beers.

Food was all very tasty and we all left very full.

“Great view”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

The food was wonderful and seating outside was great. We were told the wait would be 20 minutes to eat outside. There are only 4 tables on the deck. We deceided to wait at the bar. The drinks were very good. They do not skimp on the alcohol. After waiting 40 minutes we asked what the problem was. They seated someone ahead of us that she apparently forgot was on her list. I don't mind waiting an hour if I am told up front of the wait time. But, 40 extra minutes was not acceptable. We were told the managers family was using 2of the 4 tables. The great food and view saved the evening.

“Good food, Not fine dining”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

The service was good but not refined as one would expect from a restaurant with most entre's over $20. Bar backs and staff from the outside bar were constantly going through the restaurant toting large buckets of ice. It was ok.

The atmosphere at Murrell's Inlet, 4-5 restaurants all with live bands competing for loudness was bizarre. We would have been seated outside if not for the noise.

“Best on the Marshwalk”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

I've eaten here so many times you could call it my second home. The key to a perfect meal here is asking for Sherri to wait on you, starting with the bacon wrapped shrimp, try a wedge salad, and then ordering the Pancrusted Grouper with the shrimp Dijon cream sauce, all while enjoying a waterfront view of Murrells Inlet. After dinner, be sure to hang with the locals at a true inlet bar, The Mullet Hut, hidden out back. It's not for rookies though, just can beer, jäger, and their world famous rum punch!!
