“Fantastic Southern Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

My husband and I frequently vacation in Myrtle Beach SC and have enjoyed many good restaurants while there but must say this is a fantastic place. Serves wonderful BBQ and sides southern style just like your mom or grandma are back in the kitchen! Thw "thin" bisquits are amazzzzzing! I had to call the restaurant ans ask how to make them, Unfortunately didnt get a recipe but it led me to buy Mrs B's Thins in Walmart freezer section :) Just like old fashioned thins from when my mom was a child. Be sure and visit you wont be dissapointed!

“Very good buffet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013

Prosser's isn't fancy, but if you're looking for lots of breaded seafood and barbecue this is the place to go in the Surfside/Murrell's Inlet area. We went on a busy Saturday night, and the place was packed with locals and tourists alike. They kept filling the containers as fast as they could, and the buffet area was kept very clean, too. There is a large selection to choose from, and the servers are super friendly which adds to the experience. The price can't be be beat at $12.95 for shrimp, oysters, scallops, flounder plus ribs, chicken, pulled pork and lots of side dishes. The key lime pie was excellent too.
We'll be back to try their famous breakfast buffet next week. From the description our server gave us we have to give it a try.

“Local Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2013

Prossers is advertised as BBQ but they have some of the best seafood on their buffet I've every had So good that my husband and I ate on our way to Fl and stopped on the way back to eat there again. There is nothing fancy about the building but the food and staff are fantastic. Dont miss this local favorite!!

“Good Food for what it is”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013 via mobile

I can see why some people who were expecting fancy, and not familiar with southern cooking might not be impressed. But it was a great selection and good food. Totally not fancy. Server could have been more attentive and spent less time galloping around with a little girl on her back. Was not busy when we were there. Had already cleared sauces from tables. Food was fresh but not hot. Clerk read newspaper and talked loudly on phone so could have been more attentive and friendlier, but it was good food. Loved chicken and ribs the best.

“Never Again”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

Vacationing and we stopped in for dinner. Waitress was really selling the buffet to us so we agreed and odered that. Mistake. This is food straight out of a can or box. Nothing original or homeade. Very cheap and poor quality selections. Waitress finally refilled my drink as we were leaving and when I ask for a to go cup so it wouldn't be wasted.. they charged me 25 cents. Nope never again, drive on by foks!!!!
