Wife and stepdaughter ordered a slice of pizza each. My stepson ordered a pasta dish w/ red sauce.
50-minutes later the food arrived. Yes 50-minutes, what is up with that... for a couple of slices of pizza? Will discuss the pizza in a minute... the pasta dish was served with an Alfredo sauce, of which my son has an intolerance, (they offered to serve the marinara sauce on the side... well OK, but thanks for the red sauce, no taking back all the dairy based lactose infused flatulent causing Alfredo that bathed the pasta.) Totally inedible.
Now onto the pizza... not sure what the new management has in mind with the way they serve pizza-by-the-slice... but it appears that it is a basic cheese pizza already cooked 1/2 way thru and then the client desired topping are layered on top for a quick 2 minute pass in the oven. So the slice is not really a fully prepared hand crafted pizza from scratch, it is more like a pre-fab (at least that is what it looked and tasted like)... what a disappointment. We reviewed this place in August of 2011 and have been back many times since; what a different place this has morphed into. Doubt we will return.
Saleeby Score is only a 2/10. Note to management: get your act together and bring back the establishment we once regarded as the best in town. Now me must find another.
