“Amazing”
Reviewed January 5, 2012

I had not clue that a beautiful home was hid away at Huntington Beach State Park until visiting Myrlte in September 2011 and we were speaking with a local about new sites to see. This home in Huntington Beach State Park was a very interesting place to visit. Understanding the history, trying to imagine the lifestyle . Just steps away from the ocean - this is a must see attraction when in Myrtle.

“Had a great time with our kids, ages 6 & 7”
Reviewed December 30, 2011

Loved our tour of the Atalaya house built by the art collectors who started Brookgreen Gardens, the nature center, the beach access, and the hiking trails. We love to experience the natural beauty of this area and this park is a great place to do that. Our children made kites at the art activity table located in the nature & education center and later took them down to the beach to fly them in the early evening. This was one of their favorite memories of the trip!
