Owner description: Pirate Adventures is a unique, unforgettable experience for your child aboard a pirate ship in Murrells Inlet just south of Myrtle Beach. You will be amazed as we tap into your child's imagination and transform him or her into a pirate, complete with face paint, tattoos, and pirate fashions. Time aboard our ship is filled with non-stop activity, including reading a treasure map, hauling loot aboard, and, of course, defending the ship with our famous water cannons!
Useful Information: Stroller parking, Activities for young children, Wheelchair access, Food available for purchase

Our entire family went on this adventure, daughter age 7 and son age 5. There were approx 25-30 people on the boat, 12 were children. There were 2 staff, one was the captain and the other the helper/teacher. They were exceptional with the children and very interactive! Parents sit on the back or center of the boat while kids all sit at the front with the helper. There are constant questions for the kids as they are on a mission to find treasures, keys, maps, etc. We all arrived 30m prior to ship leaving for face painting and purchasing bandanas etc (optional). They do provide vests for the kids to dress up. The children can pick out tatoos or face paints (as well as parents)! We did, our kids loved that we dressed up too! You can take a bag on the ship and we would encourage taking a bottled water or too--they usually do have a table set-up close by where you can purchase prior to getting on the ship for $1. The kids get a very small cup of "potion" juice while on the ship--orange soda. Totally worth the trip! Our daughter enjoyed it but our son LOVED it!! It your son has a sword from home, bring it--it could save you a few dollars from buying one. Don't forget to print the $4 coupon on the website--good per person. Once on the ship, our ride lasted approx. 1 hour 10 min.

We took a night cruise on the Sea Gypsy, with a group of Adults, however the Little Kid came out in all of us! What fun using the water canyons! Will be sure to return for a day trip with the Kids!
Great idea, Great Price, Right here in Murrells Inlet! Not to be missed

We brought our 4 and 6 year old daughter on this pirate adventure while on vacation in Surfside Beach (very short drive). My 6 year old chose this as her "special activity" of the trip because she loves JAKE AND THE NEVERLAND PIRATES. The trip was a great choice!

I can't give much more information than the previous reviewers did, but will just say it was worth the price to watch the girls have SO much fun! Oh- there is a $4 off coupon on their website! Kudos to the staff- great job with the kids! I know my little ones felt pretty special.

I went on the Pirate Adventures pirate boat with my three year old niece. She LOVED it! The trip lasted about 2 hours from start to finish. The crew was very professional and great with the kids. They did a fantastic job making sure each child was involved in the activities. No one My niece especially enjoyed the water canon battle with Pirate Pete for the key to the treasure chest, which they find and the kids have to pull it out of the water! Very cool! This is a must do if you are heading to the Myrtle Beach/Murrells Inlet area. We will be going back!
