I just moved to Garden City and had a chance to eat at this lovely little restaurant. I had the Veal Parmesan. It was fork tender and the sauce was a homemade sauce with lots of little chucks of tomatoe and spices, delicious. The salad was crisp and be sure to try thier homemade dressing. Bread was warn and tasty but soft inside, just how I like it. The owner came out and introduced himself and his wife and several other diners in the restaurant who were other local business owners and thier families. It felt like a warm welcome and you always know it's good if the locals eat there!

I’ve had the pleasure of enjoy many meals at La Villa and this is a true local’s treasure. The food is fresh and homemade but priced reasonably. The menu is simple but gives you a sampling of appetizers and entrées but you will want to make sure you ask about the chef’s special. The meals come fresh bread, salad and most with a side of pasta. The marinara sauce is some of the best I’ve ever had but the alfredo sauce is one of my favorites.
The owners, husband and wife, are the server and chef. They make you feel at home and ensure that everything is enjoyable. This is truly a mom and pop restaurant and one you will come back to again and again.

We have been eating here for several years, and have never been disappointed in our meals! Always delicious! We especially like the Penne in Vodka Sauce and the Clams and Linguini. The salad that comes with each meal is very good as are the warm rolls and dipping oil. It is a small restaurant. The owner is the chef and his wife waits on tables. For this reason, if they have a full house, you might have to wait a bit for you meal, but on the other hand you know it was freshly prepared, and will be very good. They also serve wine and beer. Great family owned, neighborhood Italian restaurant.

If it's not on the menu - just ask Bernadette - and if they have the ingredients in house - Fonzi will make it - never had anything that wasn't excellent. Who would have thought you could find a good scungilli salad in Myrtle Beach? Absolutely worth the trip.
