“An excellent diversion from a beach trip”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

When I visit the beach I like to go any and all seasons. This was a recommendation from someone who lived in the area and I found it delightful. Lots of picture opportunities, calming, peaceful, and beautiful.

A nice break from the common beach activities. Often when I visit I wish I had more time to explore however most enticing is to find a good book a shade tree and to sit and drink tea and read or just be and relax from the rat race

Absolutely beautiful! Sculptures are amazing! Flowers and plants are breathtaking! Love the big old trees, could lie under one all day. Zoo is very interesting. Butterfly house is a must see! Food at the Pavillion Restaurant is delicious , nice portions and desserts are divine!

“Worth the trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013

Well I am not the one to visit gardens and statues, but after being coerced into going, went.
Took several hours to wander through the gardens, the bodies of water, the outdoor zoo and just the grounds in general.
Well worth the money and the time, see why this is highly rated around the Inlet.

“night of a thousand candles a must”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013

We have been there a few times but the night of a thousand candles- more like 5000 candles, was breathtaking! The setting is amazing and the Christmas lights are beautiful- as you self guide yourself around the paths. A must see if you are in the area!
