Brookgreen Gardens is a beautiful destination for those that don't golf (and even for those that do!). We purchased our tickets and to our surprise they last a whole week. A week is about what you need to discover the entire Gardens, as we spent two days there and there was still so much more to do. We took a tour of the Sculpture Gardens, a tour feeding the zoo animals, and visited the Butterfly exhibit (a little extra money but worth it). Brookgreen Gardens was a completely refreshing find among the commercialism of the Myrtle Beach area. It's definitely worth a trip, and if you're vacationing, be sure to visit at the beginning of your vacation so that you make the most of the ticket.

Brookgreen Gardens is one of the gems of the South Carolina coast. As if the gardens, natural areas, birds, animals, poetry, and lowcountry history weren't enough to keep you coming back every one of the 7 days that your ticket allows, the captivating sculptures will make you want another 7 days. I have never seen so many beautiful sculptures in one place. They are scattered throughout the gardens, and the Offner Sculpture Center contains hundreds more. There is so much to see that it's impossible to do in only one day. I want to offer my sincere appreciation to the Brookgreen Gardens organization. You have created a truly outstanding outdoor museum and sculpture garden. Thank you for such a wonderful day.

I've been to Brookgreen Gardens at least three times on visits to Myrtle Beach. It is one of the most peaceful areas. The statuary is fantastic! There are benches throughout the park where you can sit peacefully, bird watch, or watch the flowers grow. It is well worth the drive and expect to spend at least half a day or more here. The gardens are wonderful. There is also a labyrinth down near the river to walk. I love this place.

We did the last day of a recent trip and wish we had done sooner.
Tickets are good for 7 days and we would have loved to go another day.

This is the best place near Myrtle Beach to visit. If you like gardens, art, great walking trails you will love Brookgreen Gardens.
