“Disappointing”

Patriots Point Links on Charleston Harbor
Reviewed July 12, 2013

For an extra fee we took the ferry to Patriots Point where it was colder and there was not much to see.

We purchased tickets to watch the fireworks on the USS Yorktown on the Fourth of July. It was the most wonderful thing I've ever done in my life! It sent chills through my body knowing the history of the area and realizing just where I was. Fort Sumpter was just off in the distance. It was certainly a magical evening!

If you are a history buff, this has to be on the list! Tour every inch of the USS Yorktown (at your own pace). Step aboard the USS Laffey, the Destroyer that earned the nickname "the ship that would not die" or go below aboard the USS Clamgore and Submarine! There is even a recreation of a Vietnam camp for you to see what it was 'really' like. I could have stayed here ALL WEEK!!!

Loved our round at Patriots Point. Course was in nice shape and very reasonably priced at 45$. Views on back nine are killer. Especially 16, 17 and 18. Highly recommend the course.
