“Expanded Menu Choices”
Reviewed May 20, 2014

Dropped by here twice while vacationing in the area. The service is very attentive. The menu has your typical breakfast as well as some more unique items. We found the omelettes, the French toast, Brioche French toast and the oatmeal great. They have a number of breakfast sandwiches and casseroles as well. Sundays are very busy but we found the weekday quiet and relaxed. Located just off the main drag highway 17.

“Where else but here?”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

A fried green tomato Eggs Benedict with applewood-smoked bacon. The tangy green tomato is a great complement to the hollandaise. That's the Southern Benedict. Also the BLT Benedict, Salmon Benedict and BBQ Benedict as well as the traditional Benedict and other uncommon breakfast favorites like the Island Potato Casseroles (Edisto Island: shrimp and kielbasa). There are omelets and breakfast sandwiches too and a lunch menu. Too bad they're not open at night, there is just so much to experience. The service is good too. If you have to wait, there is a table outside with coffee and water. In a strip mall with lots of parking. Prices good.(eggs, grits or homemade chips -- called chippers -- $6).

“Crazy self-serve dynamic”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

Good brunch on Sunday. No question. The nutty thing is that the serving staff are pretty much hands off until you order. Could have been a little more laid back, for a Sunday.

“Can't skip this!”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

This was our third visit to Charleston's Cafe. We will continue to eat here on every visit! Choices, choices, and more choices. Unique breakfast dishes as well as the basics. Delish! Never had anything less than excellent. My girlfriend and I always order different items so we can share- the deep fried cinnamon roll is a great 'appetizer'. Yum!
Expect to wait most weekends. Coffee provided. Just sit down and prepare your taste buds:-)
