Our friends came down from Ct. We brought home Grimaldis pizza. It was so bad i couldn't believe it. If you like this pizza you never had great pizza. My kids had pizza at the bowling alley and it was better. Atmosphere is great, staff was great. Really wanted to give a great review but can't

We ate dinner here Friday night because we wanted to check out the mall and were excited to see this restaurant was here. The last time we ate at a Grimaldi's was in Las Vegas and we were craving that tasty pizza. The menu is quite simple, but it will not disappoint. The single pizzas were a good size and also the small salad was enough for 2 people. The white pizza with extra basil was amazing and their cannoli and oreo cheesecake was so fresh and delicious. Service was also great and the restaurant was nice inside.

This was our third time at Grimaldi's and each time we've have very good experiences. We were greeted warmly at the front by our server who had a trainee shadowing him. Both were extremely warm and friendly and added humor to the dining experience which made the atmosphere fun. We usually get a pizza and a side-salad and our pizza choice doesn't change too much from visit to visit. We love the white with garlic pizzas. The garlic taste is incredible and the coal-fired pizza oven enhances the great flavor of the pizzas. We also had the greek salad as an appetizer and it was very good as well. We will continue to come back to Grimaldi's!

Stopped in on a warm Sunday afternoon in March. It really wasn't crowded at all! We sat in the room where the bar is and we were the only diners in the room! Our server was friendly and attentive.
We ordered a small Caesar Salad, which was more than enough for two. It was very good..loved the dressing and coal fired croutons! The pizza was good, too. The crust is very thin, but not crispy/crunchy. It is coal fired...yum! It was different than the typical pizza chain, in that it's not smothered in cheese. It has "slivers" of cheese placed on the pizza, so one bite might not have any cheese, just sauce. It works though; it was good!
Based on this visit, if I lived in Charleston, I think it would be one of my favorites!

Missing my northeast thin crust pizza has been one of the food items that I miss from Yankee land. Grimaldi's brings back that NY piece of pie. Wait staff was excellent
