“Hole in the wall gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2013

Got into town around 8pm. Had to search Trip Advisor for a place to eat. This was close to hotel and pizza sounded like a good option with kids. Got right in, fast service, awesome antipasto salad. Delicious thin crust pizza. Excellent service. Gentleman I guess to be owner was hands on everywhere. He recommended which dessert the kids would like...cream puffs straight from Italy, as was he (from Italy that is). Would go again and highly recommend.

Highly recommend.

“What a GREAT dining experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

We took a chance tonight. All the reviews said the food was good, but, it was EXCELLENT! My husband and I grew up in the Philadelphia area and NEVER have we found Italian food this good outside of this area. What a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back.

“Best Pizza!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

Nice little restaurant in a small shopping plaza. We. Enjoyed a good sized capresse pizza that was worth the extra little wait. The staff was helpful and attentive, the outside seating very nice on a holiday weekend without a wait and the pizza was awesome!

“What a hidden gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

Since moving here last year, we'd been looking for a good pizza place (after having pretty bad pizza at Andolini's in Mt. Pleasant) and two people recommended La Pizzeria. The pizza was, indeed, excellent and the rest of the menu looks superb. The tiny restaurant (eat in or take out) is in the corner of the shopping center where Coralberry is located and not easily found. We were told by a waiter that one of the owners if from Milan and the other is classically trained from Georgia (not sure if he meant Georgia, U.S., or Georgia in the former USSR). He said they don't have a freezer and hence use only fresh ingredients, along with high-quality flour. We were very impressed with the quality and the staff's (waiter: Tim) friendliness and knowledge. We'll definitely be back...only wish they were open for lunch. :) A good find!
