We saw and heard about this park on a harbor cruise. After walking the bridge, we drove down to the park. Parking was plenty and convenient. You look up and see the expanse of the Ravenel Bridge above you. There are wooden swings and rocking chairs along the pier. A good place to see sunsets as well as fishing. When we were there, we saw a HUGE container ship leaving which was about 1000 feet long and very wide. There was a nice breeze there. There was visible security there who seemed to know all the regulars. And it is FREE.

Tip: There is a bathroom and a nice snack shop on the pier.

What a great park. I suggest going around sunset. The views from underneath the Bridge are wonderful. Great pier which extends 1/2 across the Cooper River. Nice playground area as well. No admission charge.

The view is wonderful and it's a great place for families to go to take a break from driving around in Mt. Pleasant.

Great park. Loved that it is near the water and cool because it sits under the bridges in the shade. Also is noisy because it sits under the bridges. Great area lots of parking

This place is great, you can fish or walk or watch the boats in the water. There is a snack and gift shop and a bait and license shop at the front of the dock. You can walk all the way out to the end of the dock but if you want to fish you have to get a license. There is a children's play area and a war memorial if you take the right path; there are two paths to the dock but only one goes through the memorial area. There is even a building at the front where the ladies are making baskets in kind of an open air area. Hearing the traffic go over your head is a bit overwhelming but it was an enjoyable morning and I would recommend that you see this place at least once.
