We stopped here on the way home from Myrtle Beach and this Shoney's was pretty good. Food wise everything was hot and replenished quickly. Waiter was a lot more outgoing and friendly than most. The building itself was quite cold inside for early morning eating as a sweatshirt may be warranted for those who are cold in the morning, but we would definitely return.

Never had complete buffet out. Never brought out our complete order. Kept saying "oh it's coming". Waste of money and time.

good amount of food on the bar but quality can be better. ordering lunch and dinner off the menu you have a wide variety to choose from. the food is good. they have special food bars for dinner on different days.

On my last trip to Lugoff in March of 2009 I spent the night at the Travel Inn hotel which is next door to the Shoney's. This is a very good Shoney's . The breakfast bar was loaded with about anything you could ask for. Food was good and hot and plentiful.
