One of the best things you can do when you are in a “touristy” spot that has restaurants packed (even the ones that are not very good) is to ask a local where to eat. We asked a local, and he directed us to this spot is located “way out in the country, “ by Grand Strand standards, just about a half mile off Route 22 on Route 90 in Longs.
The restaurant is a quiet place that serves good food prepared to your order. The food can be steaks, Italian, American, and even pizza made in a real brick oven. The staff was friendly and well-prepared, there were daily specials, and reservations are accepted but not required. This food was good! The tables are covered with real tablecloths and there is a full bar and wine selection. We didn’t have alcohol and the tab was under 40 dollars for a full dinner for two including salads with a really good balsamic vinaigrette (you can choose your dressing – you don’t have to take the vinaigrette), and generously-portioned tasty entrees. There is also outside seating available.
We would pick this place for more than one dinner while at the Grand Strand simply for the quality of the food and the relaxed atmosphere.
