I had not been to Little River in years, but Fibbers took me back to what LR was like 30 years ago. The place certainly will not win any design awards from the exterior appearance, but the inside has been updated and the owners put big money in upgrading the restrooms which compare to any upscale restaurant. Nice touch.

The service was very friendly and the food was right on point....especially for the price. I had the fried shrimp and grouper and it was exactly on point for fried low-country seafood. Nice bar including a dozen or so draft beers, including Stella which is my favorite and not easy to find on a tap, especially in S. C.

We've been twice. Each time we sat out on the deck where the boats come in. Very nice place. The staff is great and management checks to be sure everything is ok with the customers. Last trip there we had the special (Grouper) that was just provided by one of the boats we were overlooking at the docks. Stuffed with crabmeat served with steamed vegtables....very good. Guiness on tap....what more could you ask for? It isn't "uppity", its a pub on the waterway....so don't go in with 5 star expecations. Its a laid back place that is away from the crowds normally associated with Myrtle and North Myrtle Beach. It is a little pricey (3 of us ate for $121...two appetizers and two Guinesses) for the low keyed atmosphere but I don't think anybody not find something to suit their taste. Park in the lot before you get to the restaurant (its marked for Fibbers only) and guy in a golf cart will pick you up and carry you down to the pub. I'd recommend a late evening diner, so it would not be so hot on the deck.

Enjoyed sitting at the bar and watching the boats go by while we waited for a table. We went with a large party of people and we had no problems. Friendly staff and great food. Looking forward to going back this summer!
