“Old Favorite Location Reborn!!”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

I had visited for a drink, but recently ate there on two occasions. First on a Friday night......had the Frutti di Mare and was pleased though the serving size was not as great as some places I have been. However, the quality was excellent. Second trip was for lunch on a Friday.....a friend and I tried the special Bruschetta Burger and the Pork Roast with spinach and cheese sandwich. Both of us agreed the burger was a clear winner. The pork sandwich was over powered by a type of horseradish/mayo substance rindering the other ingredients non-descript. Would order the Bruschetta Burger again, but then I love Bruschetta, you may not.
All trips the service was excellent. Meet the bartender, she is a trip!!! She serves up great drinks with a wonderfully crazy personality!! Oh, and the wine list is pretty good.
Glad to see another comfortable Bistro in this location again.......let's support it Lexington!!

“Finally a great gourmet restaurant for foodies in Lexington”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

Chef Brian caters to special diets, great fish dishes, and the pizza is a real wood fired brick oven gourmet pizza. My wife loves the Pizza .She also enjoys the food and it can be made low sodium and delicious! So beef or fish or pasta its all been great. The manager Michelle is terrific and the servers, Francesca and Renee are wonderful. especially after a hard week at work it is nice to relax at one of their outdoor tables with a French Rhone wine or a mixed drink.
here's looking at you kid!

“new spot - seem to be working out the kinks”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Stopped here with work associates for dinner as options in town are slim. We were seated quickly, nice option to sit out on the patio. Menus and drinks came quickly. This is a new restaurant and you could tell. The servers struggled describing the specials and menu options. They also went into painful detail about why the extra bread I requested would be a couple dollars. (Very ackward over a business dinner) It was a shame because the little pot of bread and carrots that were served initially were really tasty but tiny, charge an extra fifty cents for my soup to make sure that I have bread to go along. The soup was a yummy, a red based seafood mix. I ordered risoto entree, my colleagues a pasta dish and a pizza. All was served very quickly (nearly too quickly as we hadn't finished our apps), but the food was hot and portions were nice.

I think with a little time and some service training this could be a good spot. I would give them another try.

“newest and best Italian Tratoria in lexington SC”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Tonello's Bistro in Lexington Sc is the new big dog in town . From homemade canneloni stuffed with sausage and ricotta to the freshest salmon wrapped in prosciutto the entrees including veal and pasta are dazzling and mouth watering.Their mussels and oysters goodfellows are to die for. the chef caters to heart healthy and low sodium as well. Now i don't have to travel across town to eat excellent Italian fare. There was a vacuum in fine dining but Tony Tonello,no beginner in the restaurant busoness and chef Brian add the personal touch and get to know what their guest want. Thsi will be a hit with couples pr the family with specia;;y mad pizzas in their brick oven. try it ,you will like it. If you don't see what you like the chef and the boss will help make it to your satisfaction. And the wine list and deserts are also very delicious! ou r 5th visit was tonight and we're going back sat --I want to try that appetizer that i couldn't fit i tonight !
