What a delightful place to eat! The place was absolutely packed! We sat outside and I expected to be assailed by the local insects but to my surprise, only one wayward gnat showed any interest. The atmosphere was cozy and the weather was perfect. The wait time was a bit longer than I expected because when we last visited, it was in the middle of the week at lunch time but overall it was a lovely meal and some of the absolute best fried mushrooms I've ever eaten. If you like chicken salad, you'll never do better than the "Honey Child" made with almonds and a honey sauce that absolutely makes your mouth water thinking about it! Two thumbs and two big toes up for the Hare and Hound!
