The service was pleasant, the atmosphere is new and nice with some views of the ocean. The food was good - tasty pasta dishes and entrees like flounder were nicely presented. As for the wine list - thought it a bit highly priced. Overall a nice experience.

Have been waiting for Coda del Pesce to open and it does not disappoint. Our meal was fantastic. Fish is very fresh, unique but simple preparations. We also had a pasta dish (freshly house made) that was fantastic. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu and the wine list. Beautiful renovation and now has much better views of the ocean, albeit also overlooking the Banana Cabana. Prices are equivalent to other restaurants of the same caliber in the East Cooper area.

Italian seafood menu in Italian. I do not want to have to ask server what every dish or bar drink is because there is no English translation when I'm eating in the USA. Put it below the menu item. Waiter had seen too many movies of over the top butlers & was channeling them. . Menu selections were interesting & well executed. Fish not over cooked. Calamari was excellent.

It is a rare restaurant that has good food and a view. As usual chef Ken has another winner.
All the pasta is house made including the hard pasta made with Italian flour with a new pasta extruder from Italy. This is the attention to detail that Ken is known for. The crudo of fresh local flounder was superb. Aranchini (little fried balls) of tuna was rare inside and crispy outside, not
an easy task! The pasta with fresh clams used tiny sweet clams that are never seen in this country. This is a place well worth a visit.

Wonderful food in the main part of IOP. Wouldn't bring children but great for adults and could be quite romantic with a walk on the beach afterward! Food was excellent.........loved everything that we ordered and the service was superb even though this was essentially their opening weekend. Thanks Ken for bring your Italian magic to IOP!
