Before hitting the road, our family stopped here on our way home from vacation. We had eaten McDonald's way too frequently travelling down I-95 and wanted a change. We normally like Burger King, but not too many exist off the interstate.
This particular restaurant was bad choice. No Southern hospitality at all. Servers had an attitude like we were a bother to them. We should have known we were in for it when we asked for separate bags for our 6 orders and got resistance.
The order took 20 minutes to fill and was wrong when we finally got it. The sweetened tea was actually unsweetened tea, and we had to wait for the staff to pour in a bag of sugar into it before our order could be completed. And the coffee was cold and we had to wait for the staff to brew some more. This fast food experience lasted about 45 minutes!
Next time, McDonald's. There's at least 3 on the island and only one Burger King. How sad for the one to be such a bad representation of the franchise. By the way, the food itself wasn't bad; just the service.
