“Fine cuisine without a view”
Reviewed November 13, 2007

There aren't many places on Hilton Head that actually care about the quality and appearance of food they put on your plate. Catch 22 does care. This little strip mall gem has a wonderful chef that wants you back. Our family of 8 enjoyed a range of entrees and appetizers that were all wonderful. The lump crab cocktail, housemade ravioli and hushpuppies were not huge appetizers but were well done. They are slighly overpriced. The entrees again were not huge, but they were beautifully presented and were unique without being too bizarre. The tomato salad was huge! The only wine they didn't have on the list was the one we selected, but a substitute was offered and it was practically identical! This restaurant was cozy and romantic but still managed family groups well. We will return.

“Good but skimpy”
Reviewed October 11, 2007

My wife and I ate at this restaurant located on New Orleans Drive because I wanted scallops for dinner. We shared an appetizer of Daufuskie hushpuppies. They contained bits of crab and shrimp which made them special. I had the jumbo sea scallops accompanied with goat cheese ravioli which I thought was good. I thought the scallops were on the small side for being called jumbo. My wife had the mixed grill consisting of crab legs, a small beef fillet and sturgean. The fillet was cut so thin it was too dry from cooking. The crab legs were not as good as she had on a couple of seafood buffets.
