The Bob Seeger classic has a line "You're still the same, you still aim high". We made a return visit to Frankie Bones last night with our oldest son and his fiancée and all four of us had great meals and the portions were large, food excellent, service superb and a very good value, to boot.
Grouper, Salmon, Crab Cakes and Fillet. Management of The Serg Group aims high and hits the bullseye. "Otis", our future daughter-in-law also enjoyed our visit to Black Marlin.
Our server, David, broke the news of one thing not the same: "Cupcake", a long time server at the boneyard left to start a family business.

Not much else to say. Cool environment, almost takes you back to a 1940's classy, Frank Sinatra in NYC type feel.

Six of us had a great meal this week at Frankie Bones. Other than the fact that a nearby table was obnoxiously loud, the atmosphere was perfect. Photos of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio, etc., adorned the walls. Our server started out a little shaky--perhaps distracted by the loud table--but came on strong as the night went on.

We shared three appetizers: cold antipasto, a flatbread and calamari. Flatbread was the best of the lot. Overall, the starters were good, but we were wondering if maybe the high scores on TripAdvisor were wrong. Then our dinner showed up.

The plates ranged from veal saltimbocca to pork schnitzel to vegetable primavera. All were fantastic. Portions were large. We tried side orders of pasta with tomato sauce and bolognese sauce. They weren't our favorite, but we are tough to please when it comes to sauces.

All in all, it was a very good experience. We would easily recommend Frankie Bones. If you're picky about Italian sauces, stick with the other dishes--there are many to choose from. You won't be disappointed.

Can you say friendly host or server? Not the day we visited. It was Tuesday of this week. We arrived @ 1450 Hours and felt like we (party of 3) we're not welcome as we wanted to order from lunch menu. The server was blunt mixed drink order but refilled once. Food was great and was recommended by a friend who lives here.
