No Bones bout It -good meal, excellent service, friendly atmosphere and staff. Close to a Chicago style neighborhood Italian hangout with all the wall trimmings. No Mama Mamucci to tell you how many meatballs to eat(which were sizeable and homemade) or Uncle Vinny with his back to the wall carrying heat mumbling "order da neck bones" but maybe next time.

Our family has our reunion on Hilton Head. It's now become a tradition to dine at Frankie Bones during our stay. My last meal was the special FB chop salad. This is absolutely the best chop salad I've ever had. I'm hoping when I return, Frankie Bones has added the salad to its permanent menu. It's not something you ever want to miss!

We just had our first lunch at FB's, where we seated ourselves at the handsome granite bar. Our friendly bartender and server, Rachel, quickly served up large bloody Mary's with a small glass of beer back, a nice touch. Of the many nice choices on the menu we thoroughly enjoyed a Reuben and a sliced prime rib sandwich, the latter served with au jus and horseradish sauce. I should mention you get a fair pour of wine at a fair price. We will surely return to this comfortably dark pubby spot to explore the menu further.

We ate at Frankie Bones twice during our stay because it was so good the first time - and the second time, too. Our food was well-prepared and very tasty. Our waiter, Joe, was very attentive and helpful - and he recognized us the second time we came in (and had the same waiter, which suited us fine.) the value was good - quite reasonable. The atmosphere was very pleasant and interesting as well. We'd recommend it highly. (You can also make reservations through Open Table on the 'net - worked well)

Last night on the Island for a while and we tried Frankie Bones. This was our first visit for dinner and it was the best we've ever had in Hilton Head. Prices were great, portions were fantastic (LARGE),service was exceptional. Hanna was our waitress and she knew the menu from top to bottom. I overindulged and had soup (chicken - just like homemade), appetizer (toasted Ravioli too many to finished even with sharing) and an entree (Fettucini Alfredo with blackened chicken).
I ordered the "small" plate and still took some home.
My wife had Salmon Oscar (finished it and raved) and daughter had Veal Parm. She didn't finish it either but took it home.
Drinks came fast, food was served quickly and at just the right interval. The food was great and Hanna made sure we had everything we needed without interfering with a nice quite dinner.
This will be the first place we visit when we come back with friends.
