Java Burrito is kind of tucked away into a corner of Wexford Village, but worth scouting out. We had two burritos (one chicken, one veggie) and they were both quite large and tasty. JB is set up similar to Chipotle: you pick your dish--burrito, tacos, bowl, or salad--then your protein, then your toppings. They offer a nice assortment of toppings, most at no additional charge, although guac is an up-charge. I avoid chicken and other meat unless it is humanely raised and vegetarian-fed, so was glad to see those features advertised prominently. A fish or shrimp option (e.g., fish tacos) would be a good addition. The atmosphere is casual and a little bit noisy, largely due to the acoustics of the industrial-type design (lots of metal and concrete, along with music playing). The staff was friendly and kept the tables cleaned off. Our lunch of two burritos, both with the guac up-charge, and one shared soft drink came to about $23. Next time we will probably just share one burrito for lunch since they are quite large once everything is rolled in!
