Pleanty of parking, places to set, nice bike paths, restrooms, and even WiFi. You are also close to a lot of restaurants and shops.

One of the nicest, cleanest beaches I’ve ever been to. Soft sand, no rocks, and no seaweed. Maybe just this time of year. Cannon ball jellyfish washed up on shore & sand crabs dotted the beach but no problems at all. Rode our rented bikes for 7 miles down the beach. We’ll for sure come here again.

Lovely beach to walk or bike. Very few people in October. We saw dolphins close to the shore while were walking. Sand was fun to ride our bikes on.

We always make our way up to Coligny Beach & Plaza. We have a blast going thru the shops, hanging out on the beach, visiting the bars. Good drinks, not too high, fun crowd to hang out with. Lots of families, but enough young people to make it fun, too.

This time of year the beach was very quiet. It is clean, even with lots of people with their dogs. It is nice to walk on, really sandy, hardly any shells. I saw dolphins off the beach twice.

I have a place at Palmetto Dunes and most mornings I ride the bike down the beach to Coligny. It is a happening place with lots of activity for both young and old. When on the island you should visit>

Our last visit was the week following Labor Day but this was not our first visit. We've been to Hilton Head somthing like 4 out of the last 6 years, and we always visit Coligny Beach and Coligny Plaza. The beach is flat and wide, perfect for walking or sunning. There are public restrooms and showers, swings to lounge on, etc. The Plaza is full of shopping and restaurants, and even has a theatre. Parking is pretty plentiful and is free. It's a great place to spend all or part of a day.

This is a great beach to walk or bicycle on. The sand is very firm. It was wonderful listening to the surf from our condo.

This was our first visit to Hilton Head. I had no idea that the tide change is close to 8 feet. This means when you arrive at high tide the beach is very narrow 50 yards or less. Arriving at low tide it is 150 yards wide and you can ride your bike for miles. The beach access is great and there are good restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
