We went for Sunday brunch, which is order from the menu, not a buffet. The restaurant is beautiful inside, beautiful cut glass in the bar & tables, gorgeous view of the marsh & bridge. There is ample seating, all with a view. Menu selections were varied from omlets, french toast, waffles, and eggs benedict, reasonably priced. Two of us had "Eggs Your Way" which was 2 eggs, we had poached, choice of meat, I had ham, the other was 2 sausage patties, and grits or hash brown casserole. Both order of eggs were overdone, but the ham was a good size slice & the casserole was a large tastey scoop. The Hippie omlet of 3 eggs, with roasted red peppers, diced tomatoes, feta & spinach was the star, a great combination. The lemon chiffon waffle was very light, served with fruit & a meat. Our friend ordered a side of cheese grits which was a scoop rather than traditional grits. If grits were served like that all the time, both my husband & I would order them, good flavor. However, our friend preferred the traditional style, so we were not charged. Remember to order toast if you want it with your eggs as it does not come with your breakfast. Delicious bloody mary's & minosa's, only $3.00. There was only one waitress while we were there, (only 2 other tables of diners) so service was a little lacking, although she was very nice. The place has just changed hands, so if they work out a few things, it will be great.
