Description: The Crazy Crab provides a spectacular waterfront dining experience overlooking beautiful Jarvis Creek. Our menu is derived from Low Country recipes, and each entree is individually prepared to order. Our Alaskan Snow Crab Legs are the best on the island - winning local awards for multiple years. We provide entertainment for the whole family with an onsite playground, the largest salt water fish tank on Hilton Head, live music and crab races during the summer, and a perfect view of breathtaking Low Country sunsets. We have both indoor and outdoor seating on our expansive deck and are pet friendly. The Crazy Crab at Jarvis Creek is perfect for your rehearsal dinner or private party. During non-peak times of the year, a part of the restaurant can be curtained-off for your private event, seating up to 80 individuals. The covered outside deck area can seat almost 100 guests with an outdoor bar area and options for private oyster roasts or Low Country boils. Come visit us and see why we have been a local favorite for over 30 years!

We had a party of four for lunch on July 5th. We were leaving the island and wanted to get a bite before we headed home to Atlanta. We stopped in and were immediately worried about a tourist trap but we were pleasantly surprised to find a great meal and excellent service. We were seated outside for a really nice view of the marsh and our server Mary Beth was sensational! She really made us feel at home and was so attentive and helpful we just relaxed and enjoyed the experience. We had a wonderful lunch with lot's of fresh seafood that was better than expected and really good. This place may have the name of tourist joint but they obviously take pride in the food they provide and you should give them a try. Nice job!

We have 2 kids, ages 1 and 3. We were seated right next to the huge aquarium which the kids loved. The food and service were both good.

We arrived for dinner only to find out that the AC was not working - it was HOT inside so we asked to be moved to the outside deck. The food was good but too expensive in my opinion considering it wasn't exceptional. Our waiter was slow and we waited at least 15 minutes for our check while he talked with a co-worker. There were several cats under the deck - most likely fed by guests. One got on the deck and another customer said that she was allergic to cats - and this one was under her table. Her waitress told her to take a menu and "shoo it away." She didn't offer to get the cat off the deck. Then she said that all the 6 cats "had their shots." The atmosphere was great - the view was amazing. I think that not having air conditioning and the hot, muggy weather may have been taking a toll on the staff.

My family and I had a great experience at this restaurant last night. We sat outside overlooking the water and marsh. Our server, Daniella, was excellent; great attitude, enthusiastic and attentive. Even my three children commented that she was "the best". My wife loved the seafood pot, which included shrimp, lobster and crab. I had the broiled mixed grill, which included a lobster tail, crab cake and mahi mahi. It was very good. My son and daughters all found something they liked on the menu and left happy. You can't ask for anything more

Very simple menu but very good, fresh stuff. We get the steamed oysters and they are among the best. My kids love the food too and love that there is a playground and hermit crab races.

I went to this place growing up in the 80's and it was always packed out. Its just as good now but there are so many other choices out in HHI that you can get in with a low wait up till 6pm most nights. Put this one on your list!
