We ate breakfast at the Plantation Cafe near Coligny Circle expecting more than we got since friends had recommended it. The breakfast was very average and my corned beef hash was from a can. Outdoor seating was adjacent to the parking lot. Service was fine. However, after eating we went inside to use the restrooms. That experience convinced me never to return! The inside was decorated around the time we first visited the island (1979). The plastic tablecloths gave it a dingy, dark, and almost dirty impression. The outdoor stained wooden latticework that is used indoors here has not been changed in decades and added to the ugliness and darkness. The step-up seating area is an accident waiting to happen. The journey to the restrooms took us through a door and past the serving area for the kitchen. UGH! How many people pass by your food before it is put on the table?
