Just left RedFish and had to get on here right away to write about the visit, or I should say "rave" about the visit.
Food was prepared PERFECTLY! Bread , which to me, can tell me how much they care about their food, was just great! Very fresh, chewy crust and soft inside, just the way we love it, so we knew the rest was going to be good. We started with the crispy shrimp spring rolls with a spicy sauce. Fabulous! I almost cancelled my order and just was going to go with another order of these! My husband ordered the Hawaiian Opah fish for his entree, a very meaty but light fish with some fat in it, so very moist, served on a tomato and crouton salad bed, topped with sauteed spinach. Yum! I don't care for fish, but I did take a small bite of it, and the server, Paul, who was very knowledgeable and friendly, was absolutely right- I would say that even if you don't like fish, you will probably like this . Great taste, and not "fishy", or dry because of the fat in the fish so much more moist. Hubby also ordered the local kale, sauteed with butter and olive oil, but still almost slightly crispy, with that pretty green color, instead of overcooked and mushy like alot of places make it, and, as hubby said, 'JUST RIGHT!'. i got the seared sea scallops, and they were WONDERFUL! Cooked just right, not dry, not overcooked, with a pan crispness on the very edges that was delicious. Came with lobster mac n cheese and asparagus, grilled, that were also very good. We chose to eat outside, and it was very comfortable, very relaxed, and great service from Paul. Will definitely come here again on our next visit to Hilton Head.
